Orion (Constellation)

In legend Orion was a hunter who fought Taurus the bull. It's lead star is Betelgeuse, a red supergiant which is so much larger than The Sun that if it were to be placed where our Sun lies it would completely engulf all of the planets up to and beyond the orbit of Mars. However, Betelgeuse is a variable star and so is not always Orion's brightest star. That position falls to Rigel.
