Overview
Mensa, The Table (Mountain), is a faint southern hemisphere constellation added by Lacaille in 1752 and originally known as Mons Mensae (literally 'The Table Mountain').
Mensa contains no stars brighter than the fifth magnitude!
Although there are no bright stars in Mensa, it does contain part of The Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our own Milky Way galaxy.
