Overview
Leo is a spring constellation in the northern hemisphere and as it lies on the ecliptic this also makes it a zodiacal constellation.
How to find Leo using The Plough as a pointer
Look towards The Plough in spring and find the two stars Megraz and Phad in Ursa Major. Create an imaginery line from these stars and follow it south and you will find two of the brightest stars in the constellation Leo, Algieba and Regulus.
